Lia is 4 months old TODAY!!! She is growing and changing everyday... it's like one of our friends said... you can just see the light bulb going off all the time now. She is alert and very friendly. When we go out she always has a smile and makes friends wherever we go. She has started grabbing and playing with her toys and especially loves her stuffed lamb which comes with her on trips in the carseat.



She has been making some great noises and faces lately too. One of our favorite is this one... I tried to get it from the side b/c she puffs out her cheeks and sticks her lips out like she's puckerng up for a kiss.



Also, we have been working on tummy time and she has been doing great!



We go to the doctor on Friday for her 4 month checkup and shots (woohoo - we love shots) so I'll have to let you know then how big/long she's gotten.

"Forget Waumba Land, I'm gonna help Daddy call the shots on Sunday morning...Stand by Camera 1, Take Camera 1!"

Saturday's are my favorite day of the week. Daddy usually cooks us a pancake breakfast (I can't eat them yet, but they sure smell yummy!) and we have lots of time to play as a family. We even had time to take some photos this afternoon.

I have been busy this week too... I found my hands and I like to try and get the WHOLE thing in my mouth all at once. I know I won't be able to do this when I have teeth, so I am trying to do it as much as I can now. Mommy and Daddy also got out the "Lively Links" and I'm working on getting them in my mouth too.

By special request...

My friend Shea (not to be confused with my other friend, Shae) asked me to post some pictures of Lia's nursery. We had so much fun gettting the room together... there are lovely green walls (with stenciled words all around), a cushy blue chair that's great for rocking, a brightly colored bumper and quilt, and my favorite - a ribbon bulletin board and valance.

We love it and hope you do too...

She's here. Haley Ann Stevens was born yesterday and Mommy and Daddy went down to see her at the hospital. She weighted 8lbs. 11 oz. and was 22 inches long. Here are a few pictures...

We got the call! Vicki and Micah Stevens (our good friends and neighbors) texted us last night to let us know they were on the way to the hospital to have their baby girl. Lia is very excited - especially b/c we just saw Vicki yesterday and asked quite nicely for the little girl to come out an play! It's been a busy week around here... Lia's new favorite thing is to stand up and show off her strong legs. Check her out...





We've been reading to her at night and she sits very still and loves to look at the pictures.





Last Friday, Brendon worked around the house a little with Lia - they even vacuumed!


but housework is tiring...so after that she took a nice nap in the swing... "AHHHHHH, What a life!"


Then Miss Jennifer came for a visit


and showed Lia how to send an email. She types pretty good with her toes!
